Team Directory

More than any other dental specialty, orthodontic treatment requires a team effort from everyone involved- patients, parents, your family dentist, as well as the Haney Orthodontics Team. We encourage you to ask questions throughout the course of your treatment, or to offer suggestions that might aide in your individual comfort.

Our team takes great pride in doing what we do best: creating beautiful smiles, correcting imperfect bites, and enhancing facial esthetics with our personalized treatment. We treat all of our valued patients as we would our own families. We will do our best to exceed your expectations by providing you and your family the personal attention and quality of care “For the Smile of Your Life!”

Cara

Cara has been in the Orthodontic field since she was 15 years old. She worked for Dr. James Miller (her orthodontist) while she was in High School. She then got her RDA license at College of Marin. Cara has worked every position, in the lab, assisting at the chair, and now she manages the office. Since Cara has been in the smile business for so long, she now sees the second generation of past orthodontic patients coming in. Cara’s passions are traveling, cooking, and arts and craft projects. Her garden and home show her creativity throughout. Time is very important to Cara and she loves spending it with her family and friends. Her motto: “Seize the day”

Lisa

Lisa has worked in the field of orthodontics since the year 2000. When she worked for Dr. James Miller she used her work experience to obtain her RDA license by challenging and passing the State Board exams in 2006. Lisa loves her job and enjoys working with all the patients in our practice. She feels fortunate to be able to work in the community where she lives.

When Lisa is not at the office she enjoys spending time with her daughters, who seem to be growing up before her eyes. As a mother of 3 she can never seem to find a dull moment. Whether it’s taking one to cheerleading or another to the mall, they keep her healthy and happy. When the daily activities are done, Lisa enjoys spending time in her kitchen. She also enjoys doing crafts, like crocheting. And when the sun is shining she loves to kick back in her pool.

Danielle

Danielle is excited to be a new addition at Dr. Haney’s practice. She is 22 years old and has lived in Mill Valley for 8 years. She attended Tamalpais High School and graduated in the year 2004.

After graduation she then enrolled in the 2 year Dental Assisting Program at College of Marin. Time had flown by and she graduated the summer of 2007 as class president. While in the program she was lucky enough to intern in three offices in the Marin County area.

It wasn’t until her third office that she found her true desire. She wanted to be a Haney Orthodontics Dental Assistant. It wasn’t the specialty that won her over, it was the staff and the patients that won her heart. “I consider myself very lucky to have found such a wonderful office and family to be apart of. Dr. Haney is awesome to work for and I enjoy my job very much. I keep him as well as the staff up to date and hip, considering I’m the youngest of our dental family.”

When Danielle is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. But she personally enjoys her hobbies because that’s what she thinks truly makes her who she is. She enjoys all outdoor activities that come with the seasons. Skimboarding during the summer, and snowboarding and skiing during the winter. She also enjoys biking year round. “If I’m not on a mountain or in the sand, I’m hanging out with friends. I enjoy working out, traveling, shopping and sleeping.”
